On March 4, 2020, Prof. Dr. Melahat Dönmez, Chair of the Executive Board of the Turkish Association for Combating Smoking (TSSD), conducted an informative seminar on “The Harms of Smoking” at TEV Zahide Zehra Garring Middle School. The seminar aimed to educate students and teachers about the negative health effects of smoking.

Prof. Dr. Dönmez provided detailed information on the health problems caused by smoking, the risks of addiction, and the long-term harms of smoking. The seminar also included important advice on preventing smoking and promoting healthy lifestyle habits.
