On June 24, 2021, the Turkish Association for the Fight Against Smoking (TSSD) held a webinar titled “Voice Disorders and Smoking.” The session was moderated by TSSD Board Member Ms. Serap Yenici and featured Prof. Dr. Ferhan Öz, former President of the Turkish Association of Otolaryngology and the Association of Speech, Voice, and Swallowing Disorders, as the guest speaker.

During the seminar, Prof. Dr. Öz provided an in-depth analysis of the impact of smoking on voice disorders. The discussion included the negative effects of smoking on voice health and strategies for preventing these effects.
